If that is the consensus I will buy something else lol.

This is just going to be a daily, so I don't need anything super but I refuse to pay the money and just have problems or be left wanting.

Talk to Gordon @ GL Tuning Solutions. He will take good care of you.

I like the looks of his...he is a bit more than the other option I have been looking at which is Anarchy, Any opinions between these two?

This is a G56 truck as I figure that would/could make tuning different.

I know of a couple people running Double R Diesel and they are happy.

Gordon’s awesome, Anarchy has a good following. On a stockish truck I wouldn’t be to quick to jump from one tuner to the next unless you have the cash and are bored. Built truck and a truly custom tune, different story.

On a side note is it me or is 4th gen tuning a complete racket? It’s insanely expensive. I had custom tunes for my 3rd gen from some of the best in the industry for nickels on the dollar. And don’t give me the trans tune bs, it can’t cost every customer $300+ to tune the same stock 68 as every other swinging d in the nation. Rant off.

Anyway take it for what it’s worth.

I kind of have mixed feelings about trans tuning as well. I understand that these tuners usually have a big r&d expense. I also feel some of the big name tuners are just glorified box tunes.

To the op (I've never ran his tunes) but look into pitockagtech.com. He is an enthusiast that writes a few tunes using the mm3 platform. He has a g56 truck which I feel is important due to some bugs that need to be worked out when changing gears. I talked to him a bit on tuning our cab and chassis, which I havnt done anything to it yet. He starts from scrach and writes his own base file. He claims his tuning is clean and trys to get good mpgs out of it.

I will check this out,

I plan to put an S&B intake, 4"TBE and a Valair when the stock clutch takes a chit. Most likely some 20x10's with 33/35 haven't fully decided yet. Other than that I am just going to drive it. I say this because I know I don't need a crazy tune set or anything, just want quality and reliability.

I would look into Firepunk diesel or Gordon for tuning IMO
