What Pump would be on a 97 2500 Dodge

I have an opportunity to buy a complete running 2500 Dodge for a good price to convert my 24 valve to a P Pump. Trying to determine what pump would be on that truck. Everything is virgin.
Thanks,
Brent

5spd would be a 215HP
Auto will be a 180HP
Better way to find out for certain is get the numbers off the plate behind the throttle linkage

Thank you... I will go back and twist my head in there.

Not possible. You must remove the throttle linkage. 3 - 10mm bolts and then you can see the plate on the back.

Behind the throttle bracket assembly is a data tag.
On it is a number that begins something like 0 402 ---
The last 3 of those numbers, on a '97 would be:

'911= 180HP Automatic
'912= 180HP (CA Emissions) Automatic
'913= 215HP 5 speed

Mark.

Guys,

Thanks for the help. I picked this 98 2500 12 Valve 5 speed and the 215 pump with 150k on the clock. Runs great and the price was right.
