I get metal here and there at the end of different large building construction projects. 30$ in wheels 8 of them rated at 270 lbs each. 4x4 1/4" angle, 500 wall 3.5" 4' long pipe cut offs and some other random pipe I had in my pile. Feels pretty solid with the motor bolted up. Probably will go with a long 3/4" pipe for a rotating handle.

Rolls ok. I think it needs larger wheels

Thanks guys. I haven't spun it upside down yet. I copied a pic I found on google images. Of a stand a guy was building on CF. I would have used square tubing but I didn't have any laying around and it would have been 150$ for the 3x2 I wanted. Notching pipe is kind of fun though

Nice work! Similar to the one I built. I started out with 4" casters which worked ok but quickly cut them off in favor of 5" or 6" as they allowed clearance for the legs of my engine hoist. Looking back, I should have use round tubing to allow rotation of the engine but my mind was more set on partial disassembly/assembly, storage and transportation as I had a machine shop rebuild the shortblock.

It's much more fun when the material is free! :lolly: The only pieces I paid for were the receiver tubes from a local trailer shop. Maybe cost me $30.
