South Bend Cluth Question

I put a 3250 in my truck (truck in sig) a little over a year ago, and have put around 10k miles on it, maybe a shade more. I have never sled pulled or drag raced with it. I have been noticing recently that when i let clutch out there is a click, it doesn't happen every time, but 5-10 times a day. Friday on way home from work it started squealing in 1-3 when i would hit the throttle, then would stop when i let off. It wasn't that bad, and i just figured it was most likely a u-joint. So i climbed under it yesterday to fix a break line, the u-joints seemed fine, nothing loose. So on way back to house it started squealing bad bad. When i would shove clutch in it would stop. When i hit throttle it was go away occasionally. I haven't had a chance to pull trans yet, but thats where it sounds like its coming from.

Any ideas?

This.

Its likely not sliding back on the nosecone like it should. I have had to replace a few cones for ware.

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.

pilot bearings sometimes will do this due to deflection in the inputshaft also .. just a thought
