Radius arm read suspension.

Anyone have experience with a radius arm coil sprung rear suspension? I have a truck that I'm thinking about building this setup on. The #1 reason is so I can move the rear axle back as far as possible, I want it a couple inches from the rear bumper.

It will mainly be a on-road vehicle towing heavy. I had in mind to go with rear coils and air bag helpers.

Not sure if he got it running with the Cummmins, but I think he had some miles on the suspension with the old PSD.

If you use a 4-link calculator, just make the top and bottom frame points the same and it'll give you your anti-squat and pinion change numbers. You'll want pretty long arms to keep your anti-squat to a decent value.

Keep in mind pinion angle will always point toward the transmission in a sense. Not sure how much up/down movement you'll have so it may not matter as much. Radius arms also turn the axle into a huge anti-sway bar sort of.

My '14 has that, I am impressed with how well it works loaded and unloaded.

I think I'd try just doing a self leveling air setup and ditch the coils if it was me.
