Question on how to evenly space wheels.

Before I start I have been searching this for the past 2 days and have not come up with anything. So everyone knows that on a stock GMC 2500 The rear wheels do not stick out as far as the fronts. My buddy has a 2001 GMC 2500 6.0L and wants to make the rear wheels evenly spaced to the front. At the moment he wants to keep the stock wheels with the 285/75/16 tires so what size spacer would make them even? Thanks in advance

No one has done this?

I don't know why he cares to waste the time, but why not just measure?

I said the same thing, and yea i was just wondering if anyone has done it just to see the size spacer to get, rather than thinking we are right and having it wrong haha

ive got different rims and tires on my truck and was wondering the same thing. i measured it and its seems like 1 1/2" wheel spacers will be needed. my buddy had
1 1/2' spacers on the back of his and they sat right about flush
