Triple turbo combinations for Maximum Street-ability and top end power

Are there any members on here or members that know someone that is running triples that can chime in with real information about how quick their triples spool and perform on the top end. Please be honest about any comments you make. I am contemplating selling my compound turbos and going to triples. I am interested in super quick spool up but also want it to make 1300-1400 HP . My current setup of a 94 Atmo with a GTX4508R makes great power but obviously spools much slower than my previous setup of a DP72 VVT paired to a S483. I have all the supporting mods to make the power I am after, I just would like to see if I can find out what others already know from their triples. Did they go too big and now they see their triples are like my big compound set up( Slow to spool and laggy ) . Or are their atmos/high pressure combos too small and tight that they spool super quick but do not have the top end power. Possible combos I am contemplating( 2--SXE369s over a billet 472 or 475 ) (2--billet 468s over a billet 472 or 475) (2--billet 468s over a billet 468)---------Another thing that would also come into play is the turbine sizes as well as the ARs. I plan on staying with a .90---1.0 AR. Will an 87 turbine be best on all 3 turbos or an 87 in the high pressure turbo and 83 turbines in the atmospherics. From the research I have done the larger turbines will make more power but are also heavier and take more to spin. Sorry for the long winded post but its all relevant . Thanks in Advance

Bcdeutch has a quick truck ,I believe he has mentioned on a tread before that Danville performance had done a triple setup with 2-366s and a DP 72 VVT that made the same or slighty more power than his setup but that Danville's power came in quicker and was easier to drive . Alot of water has gone under the bridge in the past year so I'm not sure if anyone has utilized Danville's latest 72 VVT with bigger than 366s or not.

Larger turbines do not always make more power, and there are two common 87mm turbine wheels in the S400, and they are very different, and again both of those are very different than the GT45. Personally I would stick with the GT45, or if you are really wanting it to spool faster, possibly drop to a GT42.

If you want to make a wise decision, you need to move past just comparing wheel sizes, and try to compare the different wheel designs and characteristics.

Are the exhaust turbines different on turbo brands or turbo makes ? In other words are the turbines different from a Garret GTX to a Garret GT. You mention their are 2 different turbines for the S400s ? I was unaware of that , please elaborate . Which spools quicker , which makes more power etc ? I have not seen anything in the advertisement descriptions pertaining to the exhaust turbines . I do understand that billet compressor wheels are gonna perform better than cast etc

Exactly why I'm trying to get advise on what combo will do what I after . Super fast low end spool with top end power as well totaling 1300-1400 to the wheels . I have the supporting mods already bought and getting put together . Seeking advice from those that have already done something similar or have more knowledge than me about it

I read the whole thing but doesn't really help with what I'm after . I'll post my mods so others can see what I currently have .

The Garrett turbine wheels will be the same whether they are the traditional GT series or the GTX series. There are two basic turbine designs for BW, the 74/83mm, 82/87mm, and 82/92mm are the same design, and the 80/87mm and 88/96mm are more similar to the Garrett style turbine.

There are four turbine wheel designs between the GT42 and GT55, and the GT45 is 12-blade while all others are 10-blade. Easiest way to determine a setup would be based on two factors, one being the budget, and second being power and RPM range.

What had better response? The 88/96 style or the 74/83 style. Does blade count affect spool/ flow to much?

Decided on my triples combination . Saved some $$ on the S369SXEs with the Black Friday Sale thru Power Driven Diesel . Motor is finished and picked up . I have to install motor and get to fabricating piping .

S369sxe X 3? What turbine and AR s did you decide on?

2----S369SXEs with .88ARs with the stock turbine they come with . My valley charger is GTX 4202 72mm compressor with GTX 87mm turbine with 1.0 AR .
