This was so simple I'm pissed I didn't do it sooner. I didn't even completly remove the grille from the truck.
Here's what I started with...you an see the warped spots along the top.
Not the best pic...but this is the passenger side warp...it had a twin on the driver side.
All I did was file flat the raised lip around this factory recess in the mounting panel and slip on a speed nut. I just measured to make sure all the screws would be the same distance from the grilles edge and made sure my holes would line up through the grille and mounting panel.
Factory hole on top...new hole at the bottom.
Screwed everything back down with the 2 new screws added and now it's good.
