After alot of research and figuring out the cost involved I decided to look for a cummins and found this yesterday in a truck that guy couldnt get title for.

Trying to post pics but I got the motor home and it's a 2000 and pretty sure I lucked out and got the teksid block

I'd look into a VE swap. Then you can run adaptors with the stock lines. Or so I've read on here before can be done .

I'm gonna be doing alot of towing with this truck all over the midwest pulling enclosed trailer and dirtbikes. So I'll probably stick with the p pump conversion

How does it do for towing? If you don't mind me picking your brain. And can you confirm what block I have I'm new to the cummins game

For sub 400whp the ve is hard to beat. The variable timing, even if its not much, starts better, gets better mileage and has better manners than a p7100.

Well I got it cleaned up. Blasted it with paint and got a couple new parts put on while it's on the stand. Got a long ways to go
:soap:

Well I just about got the 6.4 wiring and cummins side wiring done I'm kinda stuck on the heater grid wiring i have my new solenoids but problem is with the switched positives coming from cummins ecu it says orange/black and yellow/black....my problem is coming out of ecu I find two orange blacks and don't know which one to use for one of the solenoids.....can anyone shine some light as to why I have two and everything I've read refers to just one in the harness? Any help greatly appreciated

Its running g although starting with key can be a problem. I think egts are creating a no start. Which I will call Sean at diesel conversions see if it's a flash issue. Then recheck everything and hit the road......sure is a good feeling to have it mobile again.

Bout come to the end of this build beside having a noisy carrier bearing and doing the cruise with the cruise helper setup...I do want to recommend dcs and Sean at dcs for all the tuning hes done to get truck spot on, he is amazing and would recommend to anyone looking to convert. Got to diesel conversion specialists and they will have your back all the way til the end. It drives and sounds better than I could have ever wanted. Anyone need help hit me up I will try my best to get you going in right direction.:Cheer:
