converting to discs on FLD

Thinking of switching to all wheel discs on my FLD120 when I redo brakes again, wondering if anyone has done it.

Going to need a donor truck or your going to bleed.

I did mine but I bought a front axle and rear cutoff from a 2016 Pete. If you start buying parts piece by piece $10k won’t touch it. Calipers are over $1k each plus core, and you need hubs, spiders, air lines, and rotors and if you have 22.5 wheels the valve stem might not clear the calipers if they’re old.

thanks for the post may have to rethink it for now, maybe start with just the front then.

Check the parts auctions, there are disk brake cutoffs available. I paid $3300 for everything and sold the 5th wheel off the cutoff for $1000 and the suspension for $1500. Put your drum brakes back on what’s left and send it back through the auction.
