After a full day of running I was headed Back to to the shed and I lost all my hydraulics running down the road in 8th gear wide open.

As I suspected.. after sitting for 20 years the glue separated from the brake linings and when I started using them the linings separated, went metal to metal and plugged hydraulic pickup. What a great birthday present lol so I got to the shed and started in on it and lucky for me everything came apart awesome and had it down to the brakes in 3 hours

Make sure to flush the rear end good. All the ones I've seen do that have moisture in the oil that cause the brake pads to disenagrate.

Dang. Not too bad of a job overall. The screen did its job.

Dad had that happen to his old 4230 when he first bought it years ago. I remember thinking it was a huge job to change brakes on that tractor. Now it's just a Sunday afternoon chore.

Made it to the dyno this morning.

The test yielded:

Run 1 stock setting- 266hp
Run 2 1 round in- 307hp
Run 3 3 rounds in- 316hp
Run 4 5 rounds in- 337hp
Run 5 6 rounds in - 320hp

Egt's never broke 1000*'s

Boost was 28psi (20 on main charger 8 on low psi charger

Back pressure was 1:1

Intake vacuum tickled gauge but never came off peg. Very surprised with that since my Intake I made to clear hood looks like it flows about like a brick wall.

Fuel pressure never came off of 40psi

Not even a puff of smoke on any of the runs.

I've got video posted on the 10-20 and 30-70 series John Deere pages on Facebook. Search for Yukon Cornelius.

Super happy with the results!

It never sounded to really load the engine hard he tried telling me that the engine wasn't spinning fast enough at the start of the tests and when it would start to load it would pull down past the end of test mark.

So maybe if I had a better throttle linkage adjustment I could've had a higher number but a guy can make all kinds of excuses lol.

Bad ass. Have cousins that have 6030s. Wish had one of my own to play with

Got duals bolted back on and driving around and rear end got a creaking sound... sucks I only had the finals on for a week.

Pretty solid numbers. I'd say their should be a lot left in it! Especially if egts never went above 1000

Wasn't a very good weekend. Came to shop Saturday morning and found a pool of fuel under the tractor. Fuel tank sprung a leak. Just filled up the night before too. So I spent the morning draining tank and then repairing the pin hole. Then I finished up my exhaust stack.

Then couple friends stopped by and we were standing by shooting the breeze and all of a sudden the radiator starts pissing on the floor.

This radiator has just gotten a new core 6 months ago. Would've bought new but they aren't even available.

I'm happy it made it through last week while we were planting corn at least.

I love that intake duct. Function over fashion.

Wonder if the radiator would cross with a 50, 55, or 60 series Deere.
