FI Billet S476, what stall speed?

on a similar setup in a customers truck with a 76mm 10blade and a 96mm in a .90. I had a 2600 made for it. it is daily driven, runs 11.1s at 126 being 7200lbs, it is very drivable, little lag, little smoke and he's manageably towed with it a few times. I think this year itll get bumped up to 2700 and should be spot on. 2500 should be doable. hope it works well for you.

Took it out to the track last night, made a 10.98 at 124 with a slow 1.76 60ft. That was leaving on about 18lbs, anything after that and it would spin off the line.

It has some room to go faster for sure. That was with fairly low timing and 2600us of fuel, it also spun a little about 30ft out and lost fuel pressure because i was at a 1/4 tank and it would starve out past 300ft or so.

Not sure if this was in the first post,

But do you have a cage?

Not bad! Guess you are still on the 420s? Throw them Hoosier dr2's on there and you got yourself a consistent 10.90 index truck. Mph was pretty close to my 10.8xish tune.

Still on some old, dry rotted 420s. I added 2* of timing and 100us on my pass after this one and it felt stronger until it ran out of fuel. Im sure it has 10.80s in it without that spin or the loss of fuel pressure.

Some DR2s are definitely in my future.

What was your best time with the 467?

I sold my G56 out of my truck and will be having a fat shaft 48 setup built. I have this same exact charger with 150% and dual pumps. I called and spoke to Phil at DPC about what would work best on a street/race setup and it was his opinion a triple disk would be ideal to 1200hp....draw the line there. I believe I’m going with a quad disk in my set up with that said. He also went on to say he felt a stock stall with a flash stall of 2400 would be a good choice in his opinion. He said any higher and you’ll be driving around with the engine revving more so than you’d like.

I have no prior converter experience as this truck was a 6 speed. This is a helpful post for sure IMO.

I got my converter back a couple weeks ago, just havent had time to swap it out. I really dont need it until I get some drag radials honestly. I think the tighter converter is helping me with traction off the line with the 420s. I will be racing in a big no prep race this Friday here in San Antonio. Its Mike Murillos Bounty Hunter race, they have a street truck class with a 6.50 breakout. Hopefully the truck will do well, the top 12 spots pay out and first gets $3500.

I finally swapped out the converter this weekend. I havent driven it much but it does drive a whole lot better. I did a couple 4wd launches and it builds boost from a stop in a couple seconds, very manageable with minimal smoke while building boost.

I would say the added stall is a requirement for this size charger. I am going to try to make it to the track this weekend, and see how it does.

I am now fighting lift pump pressure issues past 2500us duration, so I am going to plumb in dual AirDog 165s with a sump. :ft:

I got the dual Air Dog 165s in, loaded up a 2700us tune and a .056 jet of nitrous and snapped the billet intermediate shaft. I guess it is making some power. I got a new shaft on its way, hopefully I can have the trans back together and in the truck by next week.

In the video I am rolling up to the line at about 5lbs of boost and start into the fuel hard and go to 20lbs. So to give you an idea of spool time at the line, when it starts smoking it goes from 5-20lbs until you hear me let off as I light the second bulb.
