Possible to use pedal mounted 08 tps?

Building a fummins that had a 6.7 but im putting an 04.5 5.9 in it, wondering if the pedal mounted tps that is still in the truck will work as i dont need a tv cable etc. Their both 6 pin but not sure of the output range of each.

In theory, yes. In practice, I've only been successful 1/3 of the time with 07+ APPS on standalone 5.9 ecms. It's kinda frustrating because they should just work.
 
i should clarify, this is assuming you're running a 05-06 ECM with original APPS on the pedal. A 03-04.5 ECM expects to see pedal-idle and pedal-not-idle signals on the APPS.
 
Joe nope still running 04.5 ecm so I guess ill be drilling my firewall for that cable then. I was hoping it would work
