1979 Powerwagon

Pulled the Garrett apart. Compressor just under 66mm and turbine about 68.

Titanium Compressor wheel? not aluminum and non magnetic.

Can anyone recommend some seatbelt harnesses?

Thinking 3 point, sounds like I will need a crossbar behind seats just under shoulder height?

Can this be done safely without a rollcage?

The old warlock is getting a TCS converter, rods/mains, headwork, gaskets, pump rebuild n more....

Going to be a fun year.

2nd gen intercooler mounted. Retained the driver side lower mount which made everything go pretty smooth.

I used an A/C condenser from a Bobcat for a trans cooler, which i may have to get rid of now as the thicker intercooler doesnt leave enough room for the lower valance.

Anyone think the size of the trans cooler is overkill? Can i get by with the parts store special? Would have been a good idea to monitor trans temps beforehand :bang

Why not just run a remote trans cooler with a fan under the bed somewhere? This way your valance fits without modifications. Derale makes some nice units.

Heres what i came up with.

Wasnt planned but the fan blows down onto it also.

Bit of trimming to the lower valance and the IC fits like a glove.
