Super duty front end.

I fought in stuff.
Hey all,
I have an 06 f350. I used to pull in the street class when is was mostly stock. It has the famous wheel hop in the front. The truck is no longer stock. I'm still running the stock turbo and New stock injectors until I get everything else figured out. I'm wondering if switching to a four link up front Will help. I don't want to lift the truck. The only why I can settle the front end down is to hang weight. But I can't in every class. The truck is probably making less power right now because of the way the motor is setup than it would stock. But I don't like breaking stuff if I can avoid it. But I'm only a turbo and injector swap away for making power. The motor is fresh and set up for bigger.

Thanks guys

Have you tried strapping the front end down? Seen a few guys do that. Have some big friends sit on front or hang weight to get it down then use a big ratchet strap to keep it down..

Or go 4 link and be done with unlimited adjustment

I have strapped it before. Is does help. But most of the street classes don't allow it. I'd really like to do a 4 link but not have to lift the truck.

Ive seen someone welded a bar under the front axle going forward and mounted another shock on the end and it took the front hop away. Look up the american ride pulling truck might find some pictures Thats what they did on that truck

There are several options to combat this:

1: Add a second shock behind your stock one and run an adjustable shock of some sort. simply requires welding two bolts on; one on the radius arm, one on the coil bucket

2: add traction bars from the transmission crossmember to under the front axle.

3: get a four link from Trevor @ Precision Metal Fab. No need to lift the truck, his works in lowered applications fyi.

Thanks for all the help everyone! I'm going to add a shock tomorrow. And order a 4 link setup. Motor is finally broke in so I can swap my turbo and injectors as well. I think I have the most exspensive 300rwhp 6.0 right now.
