forgot how headstuds go in.

I have A1 12mm head studs and they are 2 different lengths. I just changed the head gasket and upon installation I totally forgot where the shorter studs went, any help please.
 
I made the same mistake a while back.
You'd think these manufacturers would actually note it to people?
