Software beta testers needed for 'Anteater'

MR. Supreme Overlord
I need a few software beta testers to wreck a piece of software I've written for my standalone 47RH/47RE/48RE transmission controllers.

PM or email if you would like a link to the beta software. Windows 7 or 8 only.

I also need three hardware beta testers. In exchange for hardware beta testing, testers will receive a $200 coupon which may be applied towards the finished controller. Hardware beta testers will need working 47RE transmission and $750 for the controller with harness ($1200 complete with Firepunk VB).

PM or email if you would like to be on the hardware beta.

I'm in. Have a 1/2 ton build I'm about to finish and was wanting to run a stand alone.

Would it be appropriate to ask about the valvebody and its related modifications at this point? (relative to the controller setup)

I've daily driven the hardware controller on a stock 47re VB with decent results. Then Lavon took the stock VB as a core and built me a modified Firepunk VB with excellent results. I recommend a modification that deletes the TV cable altogether, but I would like to test it on a stock setup with a TV cable intact as well.

you willing to share the controller input parameters ?

I'm not quite sure I understand? My guess is that you are wondering what's needed to hook up this controller? It only needs the factory VB electronics and 12v to function at a minimum level. Ideally, you would also provide a 0-5v APPS sensor or tap an existing 0-5v APPS sensor.

Oh, I meant what the controller monitors to manipulate the VB - TPS, engine RPM, Vehicle speed, etc.

So this is a stand alone controller where you would unhook the connector from the PCM correct?

Then does it control OD, and lockup, along with controlling your gear with only the governor solenoid?

I would imagine it utilizes all of the circuits available to the OE Controller, including the governor and tcc solenoid.

I want to know what is being used on the RH valvebodies

APPS and all the factory transmission sensors. Pressure, temp and speed sensors.

Correct. No PCM is needed or wanted.

Dang I wish I had a need for this in the car, but mine currently works so well!

Me too!

Correct. An RH is a 6 wire hookup, 3 on the VB harness and 3 on the speed sensor. It ends up being only a lockup/overdrive controller that monitors vehicle speed and throttle to shift or lockup.

Brandon. I can just remove factory harness and pcm and use this correct?
Because it would be an awesome option, I just have no idea what to do computer wise.I ain't that bright

A trip to Ohio might be in order

All of them come with the baseline tunes of what I daily drive. I really wanted this to be a complete plug in and go solution. So far the base file covers 95% of the people out there because I patterned it off the OEM shift tables.

I would try the rh deal. Maybe get rid of suncoast controller????

Already talked to Lavon about yours. I need the title to my '48 to test the RH and then I'm ready for your truck.

This makes me want to do my own like we had discussed. I was part of the way there. I may have to loft my goal a little higher.
