Hellmanns Sump

Dalpilot

Joe Nobody!
Got my sump on today. Ever since I installed the Airdog, I can't get below 1/4 tank without running out of fuel pressure. Its a known problem on the FASS and AD systems. Got this from Joe a few months back and finally got it installed today. Now I run to the very bottom of the tank. Best $$$$ I have spent in a long time. And Yes, I cleaned up the wire and zip tied the hose up. LOL

I like it for race apps but for daily drivin I know it'd be fine 99% of the time but I just don't like the idea of havin it exposed to everything like that. I could def. hit it while in in the field for work/hunting. As for 1/4 issue mine holds steady even when the fuel light is on. What pickup are you using?

my truck does the same thing. when it gets to 1/4 tank i better be getting some fuel. might do the same thing to mine in the future. how was the install? looks good!

Looks good. I just ordered one of these from Joe the other day. It looks like a HUGE improvement over the draw straw. Nice work.

full.

They would not have time for that writing all the other violations on my truck, Jory

Ya, I know, me too. And I wasn't trying to pull a d*ck move on Hellmann either. Just wanted anyone to be aware in case an edumakated DOT trooper sees it hangin' down and decides to be a d*ck.

DOT regulations for commercial vehicles.
I could be wrong but I don't think Tim's truck is commercial.
