Sway bars

Leave on or take off? Interested in how the sway bar would hurt or help in a 4x4 drag truck.

Should help keep the wheels planted side to side on launch, might help stability at speed. Other than getting rid of weight I don't see an advantage to pulling them.

would you not want the frame and axle to act independently of each other? as the front of the truck raises and the twists. would it not want to pull the drivers front tire with it, because of the link with the sway bar?

have ran the last 2 seasons without the sway bar. the truck does twist more on launch. i am putting the sway bar back on tho and seeing what happens to my 60s. i dont really like how the truck feels without one.

Is the truck a dedicated racer or dual purpose? What did use to control front end rise?
