My little shop

Again looks great man!

I'm not intending to work on other peoples stuff, just for a play shop. Wish I had the ability to get some machining equipment and a nice tig. Everything looks awesome. Congrats.

Thanks Man. I wish sometime I only worked on my stuff but the extra wrenching helps with the shop expansion and toys.

Haven't got much done to mine since spring, like one sheet of siding around the walk in door, still need to build the front sliding doors and put the ceiling in before I can finish the inside walls.
I've had mine or someone else's tractors setting in the shop ever since we poured the floor, right now there's one in the shop, one nosed in door and two more waiting out side.
Had to take my truck to my nephews shop to do the engine swap, of course his shop had AC so it didn't take much convincing to get me to take it there back in August.

That pads going to make a nice tear down area!

I hear ya. I wouldn't mind getting a little bit of side work. Justify the expense building the shop, then like you said it'll support the toys!

now i just need a shipping container for my motors to be stored in

I've got one 40ft container that's full of general stuff along with gardening tools, picked up a 48ft semi van, taking the axles and landing gear off to lower it onto some blocking, already have it half full of tractor parts along with the extra trim and metal to finish my shop.
They sure help keep all of the excess stuff out of the shop and tool sheds.
Fixing to build a shed on the back of the shop to store oils, filters, grease and normal maintenance parts in along with engine crane and other tools that take up space in the shop when not being used.

my son and his lil cousin had to go cut some donuts on the new pad already

Nice work on your shop! I really like the tooling you've invested in, and the trolley and overhead crane are sweet! I dig all that new concrete too!

thanks I have been trying to get the shop squared away before winter gets here.
I have not time to do anything this year I passed my engineering test and got promoted then had to do a ton more training as well as 6 weeks of welding school since they want me to be a certified welder :hehe: but i have learned some new techniques
I have also since stopped working on others trucks and focusing on my own stuff. waiting on the clutch shop to change out the flywheel grinder so i can add that to my collection. I will getting the rest of my insulation and tin in this time home.

Congrats on the new step up at work! I hear you with having no time to work on anything. That's where I'm at. Work has been swamped, we just had another little girl, and I've been doing remodeling to our house. There needs to be 36hr days at least. :)

Thanks its been a long time coming but i am finally where i want to be financially and position wise. I feel the same way about the hours of day
Congrats on the lil girl our lil girl is 6 months old now.

Finally getting around to finishing the wiring in my shop, been working with some temporary lights hung and a couple of 4 gang plug's since we poured the floor.
First time it's been empty for a while but I've got 4 tractors lined up to be worked on and another possible.
Had to take my F-450 to my nephews shop last year to do the engine and front suspension swap because I couldn't get it in my own shop, it was kinda nice though because we did the work in August and September and he had just installed AC in his shop.
Heat and AC outlets have been figured in to the wiring for mine now.
