New Airdog 4G HD Pump!

So since I've already had one pump go out, didn't get it warrantied cause I didn't send in the card and my new pump is making a funny noise, do I get a free upgrade??

Pretty sweet huh? There are some very sweet things going on here. We addressed the seal issue we created by trying to address a general, long term seal issue. The testing we've done on aeromotive and fuel lab style pumps prove the longevity of those motors aren't as good as what we use now. So we found a way to eliminate the seal from our current style motor. Still doing some testing but it looks like this may be the ticket. And WOW are they much more quiet. You literally can't hear them running at all.

Thats good to know so when Lee calls in the warranty on mine it will be the new style correct?.I'd hate to have to put another motor on top of my ADII that can not maintain pressure like the current is doing.

Now as for my AD 4G that we put on my 2005 truck.....
It certainly has fixed the pressure loss issues we have been having and its very quiet, unlike the ADII DF-165 that had been on the truck previously. The ADII would start at 20psi and pull down to 2psi under a full throttle run and it didn't matter what filters were on it.Lots of work to do tuning and we will see how much better this pump will prove to be in the long run but for now it looks very promising and it has cured my loss of pressure under load.

How much difference is there between these new pieces and the AD II 165 I got in the fall? Any way to simply upgrade? Pump hasn't made its way onto the truck yet due to other problems and issues.

So far from what I can tell, almost no pressure drop, practically silent, and hopefully longevity. Haven't had a 4g pump apart, but I know the base that came with it was different then my Airdog 150, and the motor was bigger.

I dont have a 4g series but i can tell you my 200 gph is silent compared to the fass 150 i had! I love my airdog!

My fass 95 is a loud biatch. It starts at 14psi idle and draws down to 1-2psi at WOT. And I'm all stock with a smarty. I think it's time to go dual pumps, Exergy injectors and new lift pump.

Had my 165 go out on the way home from Scheids and now I have a 4g coming in the mail. Ill post some pics when it shows up

Booooyaaa great idea. Put that airdog to work!

Top Secret right now I guess!

I haven't set a price yet or even decided if I will release it. Extensive testing has to be done first. All signs show it's better all around. But how much better...? There are things about it that engineering likes that I HATE! However testing will win out and show what's best. If it proves me wrong and shows to be a better pump in the long run. I'm A ok with that for sure. So far so good though. It def pumps a ton more volume, it's def much quieter, it's def easier to maintain. However, more goes into it which raises the cost. Don't take offense to this. But I don't care if we can't run any competition only vehicles or not. I want something that will last forever. If it turns out to be enough volume for the others, GREAT! Sweetens the deal. Which as you can see it does. Anyhow, engineering is doing lots of testing and documenting on it as we speak. Once they get their info. We will put our heads together and determine what the next step is going to be.
