Roughly what's the largest jet supported by a 4an line? 6an from bottle to solenoid

SCHMITTY

Not enough time
Picking up a used zex dry kit. Doesn't have a n20 solenoid but comes with a bottle, 6an bottle to where a solenoid would be, and a 4an from solenoid to fogger nozzle. I'm looking a solenoids and wondering how big I could go before the 4an is the limiting factor. I was looking at some jegs solenoids but I also was looking at induction solutions Cheater that has a .125 orifice- 80$

From what I recall -4 fittings are about .125 ID
You will also want to look at how big of a jet the nozzle will flow. I always drill out the nos dry nozzles to the largest jet I plan to run.

The lines ended up being a 4an from the bottle to the solenoid amd 3an from the solenoid the the fogger nozzle. I picked up a nos cheater solenoid with a .91 orifice and some .032" jets. I was going to try them at .032" and then start drilling them larger in small increments

I found a -4 line to run from the solenoid to the nozzle. So I guess the solenoid and the nozzle will be my limiting pieces now.

Pretty much just drill starlight down where the jet sit? And then from the tip ?

I have calipers and a tool box drawer full of bits

I just slid a .093" bit in the -3 line. It fits in the fitting and into the line. Does that mean it would flow more than .084"' ? I ask because I was laying out all my stuff and I don't have an adapter for the -4 lines to hook to my fogger nozzles. But the -3 lines thread onto the nozzle. I made sure the nozzles are at least .093" also.

So what I have already and plan on using is -

10lb bottle
-4 from bottle to solenoid
NOS cheater 16000 I think it has an orifice that's a .09"
-3 from solenoid to fogger nozzle
I'll start from a .046" or .055" jet and work my way up until the drive pressure is to high , I max out the kit , or I break something
