Just curios if anyone is drag racing a 6.2 or 6.5. If so what et and speed...

All I can think of is the scene from Horrible Bosses, "you're drag racing in a prius? I don't win a lot"!

I was there in Indiana when a legend made it through several rounds of bracket racing in a rented U-Haul.

A. Bracket-racing is pretty dumb,
B. If it exists, somebody is racing it.

This fall we went 15.9 on stock fueling. Planning on doubling the hp for next year. Should be interesting. There is a few of us pushing the older engines because why not and it is cheap fun.

Not hating on you, by all means run whatever you want, it's cool to see something different.

This is why the guys are doing it. I am just helping make it happen. It is fun modifying these older fuel systems to see how far we can push em.

We hit 450hp so far with more to come. It is looking like we can get 600hp before long.

What are you doing for a crank? I know of too many of these in stock applications, that the cranks have failed in under 200K miles.

Kevin Meredith's short bus was a 6.5 I think. Went 21s or 22s

I have yet to see a crank fail. I balance every engine I push hard which gm obviously didn't.I have seen more rod failures than anything.

This is with a bigger than necessary turbo and some water/meth
