He tuned this thing to a 9.09@151mph. This was a very clean pass with very little nitrous. Zach is the best EFI Live tuner in the country guys. If you dont have his tuning, then you dont have the best. 8s are just a step away.

Nice showing yesterday. You had Seth at the 1/8 in the final. Racing of that caliber makes the trips to the events worthwhile!

Yea we hurt the motor in semis. It was running on 5 cylinders. Im very confident we can go 8s with a healthy motor. Zach done amazing things with just minutes to do it between rounds. Is as as much a part of our race team as anyone.

I'll let Ashley answer, but i believe they are just over the weight limit for the class by around 100 pounds. That may have changed since last time i asked.

That's awesome times by chance does he do Udc tuning

What's that?? LOL just kidding. Actually, i have only 'guided' a couple people through changes with it - and that has been pretty recently. I was first exposed to it during a class in Indiana last month.... it's been an experience for sure, but was able to get the guys from Canada steered down the right path they'd been trying for for months all in a couple of hours time and a few drinks of the Gibson's whiskey they brought me to bribe me to help them....

I at this point have not personally 'done' any UDC tunes form the ground up - just walked a couple people through their modifications and what i thoguht they should change, and it's seemed to work great for them.

alrighty so about 4900 or so? im thinking of buildng a 4wd i know i can get it down to 5000 and it takes about 1100hp to run 9.0 at that weight so i just wanted a rough guess on what it takes. Thanks

Ashley will be able to give you exact numbers. i think it's at a little over the minimum weight without the driver. at least it used to be. he'll be able to tell you for sure where they sit.

It's possible - but right now i'm pretty well entrenched in just the EFI work i have to do and trying like mad to get caught up.... I'm just happy as can be from the races. it was the best race i saw in a long time. Very exciting.

I wanted to add that Ashley/Shawn's truck backed up the 9.09 with i believe it ws a 9.13 - so the 9.09 wasn't a 'fluke' pass either. In the final when the vavle finally finished letting go still ran 9.19 @148-149 MPH on only 5 cylinders.... So we will be snagging 8's when he get's it back together....

Seth's truckis bad ass... No question about it. i do however think this year we're finally going to see some serious contenders from the common rail side finally giving some of the 12 valve boys a run for their money, and possibly passing them up if we can keep making the strides we've made the past year.... all a learning game, and i think we're getting it sorted out plenty good as anyone that was at the race watching i'm sure would agree....
