My 10 year old PDR 12V intercooler has never had an issue but it uses factory cast tanks welded on to the intercooler.

Technology has brought our sport a long way. But I still admire the work from Piers oh so long ago. It was well thought out and well done.

Although I also remember when they were using water heater pop offs to control boost. Ha ha
