I think one of my biggest issues is going to be getting this thing off the line. It has no traction at all. A limited slip would help a ton. That and some good tires. Ill get my governor spring in one of these days when its nice out and probably try it out like that and then start playing with the power screw and see what I can get out of it. Should come to life pretty good then.

I did manage to outrun my brother in laws stock with aftermarket intake 99 PSD the other day but im not sure anyone even knew we were racing
No head studs and the motor had over 500k on it. I was running 33×10.5w×16 slicks and a welded up 3.07 so traction wasn't an issue lol. Gearing and converter slip was my biggest issue, would've been nice to see what it could've ran with a good converter, overdrive trans and 3.55 gears.

I know nothing about pins at this point, performance or drivability. But, I did notice that THD was running a sale on the pin, bosch gasket and seal kit, and the gov spring. $100. Seems like a good deal.

Fuel Pin + DGK-121 kit + Gov spring of your choice

I think Duck Fuel Injection is selling 60lb springs for $85, promo code: BF18-60LB Injector sale there as well.

Power Driven has a sale as well but a 1st gen 5x.012 is back-ordered till May!?!

Just passing along what I found.
