Great event and great turn out it seems to get bigger every year. I think there was over 200 competitors there combining drag racing and sled pulling. It was great to see and talk to everybody again ! Also congratulations to Johnny Gilbert on winning the Unlimited class and taking home the $2000.00 check and setting a new fastest VP truck record doing it !

I went looking. It's always good to see you, so I was a little sad. It's a good thing I took beer along to cheer myself up.

Had a good time, was my first time coming to this event. It was my 2nd time out with my new setup. I managed to slow the truck down and pedal it to a perfect 12.00. I could never do that again.

Coop.
After this weekend you have become a staple in my life. Awesome time brother. You need to do the canoe trip.
By the way, Mrs. Snedge thinks you're cool too.

Oh, and also by the way, I wanted to mention that Jim Laydon's rig broke down halfway to the event, and he was cool enough to hitch a ride just to be there as a spectator. I thought that was just awesome.

Race

It was a good time as always! Jeff I was going to say something at the lube but your table looked like you were having a good time and I didn't want to bug anyone. Steve! Brother we missed ya! John was having withdraws without his drinking buddy. Lol Jim is truly a good person and fun to be with. Bruce it's always fun telling stories and hanging out in the parking lot. Josh if you want to go sometime there is plenty of room in the new truck. My son had fun at knobels Friday and got his fix for the year so all was good.

Jeff, Sorry I missed meeting up with y'all. We had some pretty bad death wobble rear its ugly head just before we hit the PA state line. Then of course the nut for the track bar bolt stripped so we were lucky to have a friend close by where we could do some welding and rigged something up. Finally made it to the track at 5pm. Caught the last two drag races and the last class of pulling.

No, sure wasnt. 2.6 trucks took a thousand to win and 500 for second of 3.0 money. Cant believe more 2.6 did not pull and take more money home!!

Jeremy, its already in the works to replace your class with something else. If you want it, next year, I will need commitments of at least 6 trucks.

Sorry, No way we can commit to anything till next spring. Sounds like we put on such a good show Saturday night they want us back next year. Besides driving all night from the eastern shore to Numidia isn't what I call fun. I like 2 hooks within an hour of each other
