balance and blueprint

most shops that say they blueprint an engine dont actually. blueprinting involves picking up locations from the factory print to check bore centers and such. just a way to check and make sure a shop isnt feeding you a line of s***

Blueprinting at most shops is just checking tolerances in the entire motor making sure everything will work together during and after assembly like piston to valve clearance.

True blue printing is measuring every single item not only in tolerances but weight as well and setting clearances as well as stating what the engine should make torque and power output wise with the parameters set.

And making sure each cylinder is the exact same

Exactly why i said "most shops". You are dead nuts correct.

Full Boar in Dodgeville WI does an excellent job IMHO. One of their guys is a member on here.

Thanks Chris. We would be happy to do any work needed. Doesnt matter what size engine or amount of hp. We check ALL tolerances on ever engine we build. If you want a true blueprinted engine we can do that as well.
