Adding leafs

Just wondering what you guys think about adding some leafs to my truck to stiffen up the rear end. I'm not sure if it will even help because in our class we are limited to 1" suspension travel so I have bump stops on my truck set to 1". Do you guys think that adding leafs to my spring pack to make it more of a 3500 to 4500 style would be helping any?

Adding leafs will make the truck want to bounce more?

This was a common trick way back in the day. There's no point if you're allowed suspension stops. I wouldn't waste my time or money.

That's kind of what I had thought for but I didn't know if there would be an advantage of letting the back of my truck sit a little higher with the springs and transfer weight more forward?

I added leafs to my truck and lifted rear about 3" or so, and just took them back out because of it bouncing. Had a pull yesterday and had no bounce, that's with 1" of travel in the rear too. I would just save the time and money.
