Smarty UDC Custom Tune Pro Software!! Interesting!!

Copied form the video description!! "The NEW! Smarty UDC Custom Tune Pro Software. It has the capability to custom tune your truck from 1999-2016 Dodge Ram Cummins 5.9L / 6.7L includes all the bells and whistles of on/off (Delete) DPF, EGR, regen and 68rfe transmission tuning"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zaMRVgP_9ME

Can't wait to see what this and the upcoming RaceME "warp" tuning can do! Hopefully it will prove a better option for guys with 6.7 swaps like myself.

It's also good to know, as I'm 4 minutes into the video that he still can't write a decent UI that doesn't suck. There's no reason to blame windows 8 for being slow for anything as simple as this tuning software should be.

ha.

Custom tuning for VP engines? Always told it wasn't possible, guessing it still isn't, probably a typo.

Stumbled on this info last night, between the UDC PRO for Smarty and Warp Tuning form RaceMe its should make those EFI live people step up to the plate and give the people what they want. We the customer will ultimately benefit when there is more competition in the tuning options for the 6.7 and it seem the 03-04 guys that were thrown to the side by EFI will have support from Smarty as well as HP tuners. Seems like a win for us!!!

EFI probably won't venture into the 03-05 now that HP has, and EFI Live has stated they won't do anything that can't be programmed through the obd2 port. So they won't be sending out "unlock" hardware like others have.

Is it just me, or do you have a vendetta towards EFI? Remember, they started all of this.

Can anyone confirm if they are now offering equivalent custom tuning for VP trucks that the common rails can get? I honestly doubt it.

I'm just like you, waiting to see what comes out. Your best bet would be to contact the videos owner on YouTube.

No vendetta, It's nice to see options out there plus when it comes to 6.7 swap, there aren't alot of options for us. When a 6.7 ECM standalone is tuned with EFI I've heard that you can't reach 100% throttle but with Smarty this was not an issue. The 03-05 are already covered on the original UDC tuning so as he said, "this software upgrade will work with all original dongles". They should have done this years ago for those 03-05 guys, there are alot of 03-05 guys who switched to 06 ECM's and harnesses just to get good custom tuning.

In sitting down with Marco and seeing his demo last week, this looks very promising. No ecm unlock junk needed on the 2010-2016 and fast 4.5 minute flashes. Throw on the change tunes on the fly options and its more exciting.

I can hardly wait, I need o know what direction I'll be going with my swap as far as tuning. It will be interesting to see if UDC Pro or RaceME warp can actually allow the CM2100 to run as a standalone by disabling VATS and SKIM without going to a 2007 base file as is the case with EFI. If that's also the case for the CM2200 ECM, these guys would be the kings of Cummins tuning.

Did you swap a 6.7 in an 03-05 truck?
