General waste of my time

I made my own with the help of a decent machine shop.

No use in waiting around any longer.

Maybe I should quit prying so much. Pretty soon all your secret squirrel stuff will be posted for everyone to see. Truckers all over the world will be running around with high hp b/c lol

Still lost on finding a turbine housing. Should I just take the guys word that it fits a gt55 even though part number seems to not exist?

What you need is a European built L10. Leiffi had one that you could chain to a tree stump and pull the county across state lines. And like most of his BS you just have to take his word for it.

My head hurts from reading about turbo's. I am going to give up trying to learn at the moment and just go ahead and get that acert set around. Now I just need to source the 1.24 turbine housing I am coming up with 761208-0025. Hopefully this is the answer for my turbo needs. At least it seems like the gt55 has plentiful options if this doesn't work out.

I pulled this from a page that is selling new 1.24s.

761208-0016 or 761208-0025 = 1.24 a/r

My setup may not even work, it might run like chit compared to the compounds I took off.

Thanks, I also found 761208-0027 = 1.24

If I don't get something together in time I might just have to have Faulkner set up the c16. Its on my list of things to get done anyway.

Garrett / Detroit Diesel Turbine housing GT55 1.12 | eBay

This is a smaller size, but the price it right.

Just to prove how turbo stupid I am. Why does the line for the 1.24 start so much higher in flow than the rest? Just by looking at that chart makes me think I should just go with the 1.4

The HT4 you were running has a housing close to a 1.00 with a lesser flowing turbine, big housing with high flow turbine means you won’t have any bottom end.

Thank you. That helped a lot actually. I have been trying to figure out how the holset measurement related to Garrett a/r. Turbine size changes were messing with me not allowing me to put the right numbers into the equation. I hate being in over my head and have been really trying to get this all to make sense.

You have seen dynographs, you have seen videos, dont have to believe but L10/M11 is much better engine than 855.

We have seen nothing about this world famous L10 other than what you puke on forums.

And just like the DT466 in the pulling tractors if you replace every OEM part with something good you can get power. Prime example is the Silver Bullet 3208.

then you are blind.

Only parts changed are injectors, cam and turbo.

There are many of them built, in Finland and UK. And one in Malta for drag racing.
