Are you planning to do any of the Excursion style? Just me but if I'm buying a new hose I'm sure going to go with the one that doesn't go through the belt. Seems ridiculous to me to have to dump the coolant just to change a belt.

I do realize the 7.3 market segment is pretty small but I had to ask. Looking forward to running some of your stuff on my other project.

I went to your website. I am interested in any data/testing comparing the OEM radiator to your unit for a 6.7 cummins.

Besides the superior build quality what are other pros when considering a replacement for the OEM? Thank you

With all of the requests we have received for this specific hose kit I think it is certainly a future possibility. Unfortunately I am unable to offer a time frame or guarantee its production quite yet. I will speak with a few folks here and follow up on the forum with updates!

Thanks for the information and inquiry!

Great I would be happy to help. To start with our radiator is a full aluminum design which provides increased reliability and durability. The aluminum construction will also aid in heat dissipation which will increase cooling efficiency. This will be especially helpful while towing or carrying a large load. With the amount of miles diesel trucks have been known to drive for it is safe to say the radiator will need to be replaced numerous times. The extended durability of the Mishimoto radiator will reduce/eliminate this and we back our products with a lifetime warranty.

Unfortunately we do not currently have any reports with data from our testing of this radiator.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

As promised we have two additional engineering reports available!

The first report summarizes our data collection for the Mishimoto 2003-2009 5.9L/6.7L Cummins Intercooler. Check it out!

Engineering Report

Next up is the Mishimoto 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Intercooler.

Engineering Report

As you can see our coolers exhibit a much larger core volume. This results in increased flow and lower IATs. Our coolers also show improvements in pressure loss compared to factory coolers.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Thanks

Thanks for the inquiry! We are very interested in this project and we are hoping to perform some R&D in the near future to get the project in motion. Unfortunately I cannot provide an exact date but I will be sure to update the community as soon as more information is available.

We are open to any other product suggestions! Feel free to make comments or ask questions.

Thanks
-John

I think alot of guys can back me on this, there will be a big market for second gen dodge intercoolers. The factory ones are poor quality. I have see/heard of more than one fail on stock trucks.

Yep! Getblown5.9 got my radiator that Mishimoto built for me. Glad to have it going into an AWESOME truck. Glad to see you've finally made it to CompD, Welcome Mishimoto.

Since I'm not in the West Chester area anymore for test fitting for the intercoolers, you should probably shoot Getblown a message and test fit his trucks. Stand up guy who will give you all the feedback and quality information you need.

Thank you for the welcome and the assistance during test fitting! I will contact Getblown and see if he would be interested.

Thanks

Results will be hard to compare seeing as how my stock intercooler is blowing like a blow gun at just 30psi. I'll let everybody know my results anyway.
