47/48 Direct Drum Modifications (Share)
What modifications have you done to your direct drum? looking for some ideas or tips. also any other mods to increase extra lubrication throughout the transmission.

Hmmm there’s a billet piston you can install. You can put all 15 springs in it.

1993 w250, 215hp pump benched by Seth. 5ks. Hamilton valve springs, colt 181/218 cam, fire ringed head. Airdog 150 at 45psi torktek ofv 6x16 injectors, timing is roughly 30*. S366 soon to have a s475 with it.

You can drill another hole in the drum. I copied him on a build I did 2015 some pics are mine and some might be screen shots of his write up

I don’t recommend using a typical size drill though. I had to keep pressure on the bit and flex it while drilling and I’m lucky I didnt snap the bit off.
