After speaking to DPC I am in shock

So I called up DPC today to speak to someone about a 4D I purchased through PowerDriven. Long story short, I spoke to Taylor for quite a while. He was helping me trouble shoot a leak. While I had him on the phone I asked about possibly getting a restall since I am not too happy with current stall. He explained to me that I could get one free restall. I explained that I would probably have to wait for my other converter to come back from a different shop where its getting refreshed. Then he said something that just blew my mind! He told me he would talk to Phil when he got back about sending me a converter on Monday in order to help me out and avoid down time.

I was shocked to hear that option even being offered!!! Even if Phil doesn't approve that I am still very happy with their customer service

Now I see first hand why so many people on this forum have good things to say about DPC

Kronk,
Is the V-10 converter too loose? Or do you want to go even looser? Just curious for future reference.

FYI, Todd's Triple Turbo Frankenstein Truck is awesome with his new V-10 based quad disk converter from Phil Taylor-DPC. Being able to spool up fuel-only at 5800' is awesome!!! It spools so well, Todd actually removed the nitrous spool-up jet since he will not need it for any tracks/events we plan to attend.

V-10 is too loose. Seems that what works well for a 12 valve doesn't necessarily work as well for a 6.7.

BTW the billet S480 wheel from Barder was nowhere near 100 grams less than stock. Weighed about 45 grams less.

I'm running a 13" and love it in my 5r. I have a 12" with minimal hours on it sitting in my garage I could sell you if you're interested. It would need a re-stall tho as it has stock stall.

I hear ya on that one.
The last time they did my transmission, they didn't torque up the flex plate nuts to the converter, and by the time I got to Brooks for a lunch break...what sounded like the exhaust pipe rattling against the frame, turned out to be the flex plate and converter rocking back and forth...cutting through the studs of the new converter.

They were good enough to pay the bill for the repair, and they went havsees on a new billet flex plate.
