All I can think of is the scene from Horrible Bosses, "you're drag racing in a prius? I don't win a lot"!

I was there in Indiana when a legend made it through several rounds of bracket racing in a rented U-Haul.

A. Bracket-racing is pretty dumb,
B. If it exists, somebody is racing it.

This fall we went 15.9 on stock fueling. Planning on doubling the hp for next year. Should be interesting. There is a few of us pushing the older engines because why not and it is cheap fun.

This is why the guys are doing it. I am just helping make it happen. It is fun modifying these older fuel systems to see how far we can push em.

What are you doing for a crank? I know of too many of these in stock applications, that the cranks have failed in under 200K miles.

I have yet to see a crank fail. I balance every engine I push hard which gm obviously didn't.I have seen more rod failures than anything.

That's impressive, didn't think possible.

What rpm does it make the peak 450hp at?
