HPFP prefilter options

5.9 Cummins 24V
Preparing to install a 95gph HPFP to supply my VP44. Purchased pump new 3yrs ago - it came with a small prefilter (FF5079) in the kit that I'm a little afraid to use as I run in temps as low as -60F. I'm worried about that little filter being the weak-link when it comes to super cold temps/gelling. Am thinking about using a RACOR 445R with heater as prefilter using a 30 micron filter, but it's rated at 45gph. What is the gph rating of the Cummins 24V fuel system? If the stock filter, return, banjos, etc. are rated at 45gph or lower then I'm fine right? I just don't want the new prefilter to be the hangup. I've also read comments on forums that this pump doesn't like much resistance on the suction side. Any experience with using a RACOR 445R or similar filter on the suction side of the FASS HPFP?
