nv4500 making new clunk

My 97 has a ConOFE in it with about 25k on the clutch. The other day rolling through town, it made a nasty clunk/clang/bang from the trans area. It now does it intermittently, but without any consistency. It will do it when I shift into a gear occasionally, It will do it while I'm cruising, if I add or decrease acceleration. It will also do it occasionally when I clutch.

I first assumed it was a gear missing a tooth or something, but I wont do it on a consistent basis. It didn't do it the entire day the other day, then it did it 9 times in 5 miles. Im not sure if this is a clutch issue but don't know if anyone else has had this happen before.
