suggestions on 8500 pro farm build

im about to get started on a 8500 pro farm build this spring and im just wondering what blocks some people are running in this class i know the limit is 470 cubes. as far as i know its open rpm so any input appreciated.

Kinda open on that part but a 4030 John Deere or new holland maybe a Massey depending on what engine I can build! I don't care much for Perkins

I would stick with Deere or IH. You should be able to find parts for these a lot easier and cheaper than any other color. Watch http://www.pulloff.com classifieds for some good buys.

We'll I'd like to run B.O.B in ky but this class is boot heel pullers in Missouri. There rules are no bigger than ppump and 470 cu in factory rear end
