Frame mounted weight box

ISO pics of how guys mounted there weight boxs directly to the frame rails. Im using 2" receivers to slide box into. I'm redoing how my weight box attaches to truck for extra clearance for bigger AW.

Really? No one? I know I've been asking alot of ?s here but as the 3rd go round I'd like to get some advice instead of just what looks good..

2" box tubing slid into 2" female rease hitch style receivers will work fine. I use 2 of them and add gussets to prevent the weight box from flexing. use at least 3/16" wall tubing.

In 3.6 we only have to have factory frame centerline to centerline. So my entire front of frame is 2X6 square tube. We used to use 2 inch receiver setup but didn’t like the slop in the receiver so just welded them in anyways. At least these pictures can give you some ideas

I don’t have a any pics on my phone, but 2x4 sections into/through the frame nice. Gives plenty of weld area on the outside of the frame. This is strong enough for us to be moved around the indoor pull by lifting the front. 2x2 flexed too much on our setup before.

I did the same as crewcab did but i still have the receiver tubes in there for easy on and off. And welded a plate to the 2x4 square tube that bolt the back the weight box on and nothing moves and can pick up the front with anything
