Actuator Bad? Replace Or Go With New Turbo?

Guys, I have a 2015 2500 with 70K, and the turbo actuator went bad.

I was thinking of just going with the city diesel upgrade or a Fleece Cheetah or turbo time Dominator turbo.

The truck has a full tune, FASS 165 fuel, Fleece CP3, 4.88 gears and ARP 625 studs.

Trans was rebuilt using Revmax parts, and they said it is good to around 550 HP.

So my question is, what would I gain from the upgraded turbo?

Would I gain any noticeable improvement in power?

No towing, just a daily driver-Is it worth the extra $$ to go with a new turbo?

Thanks so much for the advice

We've had really good luck with Fleece's Cheetah, and we have no experience with any of the others you mentioned. I personally try to talk folks out of replacing the VG turbo with anything other than another VG type, unless it's a race or pulling application.
To your question, you can just replace the actuator itself if you're sure the VG alone will fix it. You'd need to be able to calibrate it once it's installed.

Thks would I notice a big dif. in power by upgrading to the Cheetah once I had my tune also upgraded??

Yes it's noticeable. They clamp it'll support up to 700 HP. I recommend installing it before messing with any more tuning. Tuning can always be done once you see what kind of difference it makes.
