HX40W or H1E off 8.3L

So Im ramping up my search for a turbo for my DT466.
Ive been thinking about a S366 not the sxe style (out of my price range)

But I ran across that the 8.3L cummins have an HX40 with an 18 or 16cm housing. I have also seen H1E off of 8.3L but cant find much on them.

Is a HX40 with a 18cm housing the same as a S366 with a 0.91 AR housing?

Ive also been contemplating going with a HX35w off a 12 valve but I think that might be to small? Plus T3 to T4 adapter and I think they came with a 12cm housing? The smallest I think I want is 16cm maybe?

Ive also seen some people do hybrids using the hx35 cold side and the hx40 hotside, maybe if I can get both cheap enough that would be the way to go? Ive been seeing 35s for $150 on FB.

All Ive done to the Dt466 is turn the fuel all the way up, it has the most advanced timing already. This is going to be a big tow rig and a weekend driver, so I want some good off the line and fun to drive but still need to keep the egts down.

Thoughts?

The big hx40 is a 60mm inducer on the compressor, there's also a 56 and a 58 wheel. The h1e is kind of the older version of the 40 so similar sizes.
