all expencce payed vacaton to Afganistan for 8 months. we had liquid cooled wrenches for the 120* heat.

we had 6b industial engines in to size fork lifts 6k and 10k the 6k had a first gen like pump on it I cahnged around 14 or 16 of them they dident like the heat or the crap fuel that we were getting from pakastan.
the 10k had a p pump style I changed one the fuel tank had 12 gallons of water in it and the operator tryed to start it for a couple of days before they towed it to the motor pool. after that I new what gen truck I wanted. 12v forever!

Then I was there when you were. 302AW from Colorado. That was 5th of my 6 tours to the dirt.

I hated it there. I hated living in double wides. All of my tours overseas were spent in tents where you got your own room. Thats what pissed me off about the hard shelters. You had to live with some stinky bastage.

Been a few places, seen and heard a few things...Hellova life. Civilians can't even imagine, the phrase "ignorance is bliss" comes to mind. I wouldn't trade my experience for anything! Seems like yesterday I was just a country boy from Indiana...
