Why is it difficult to load pages sometimes

When I am on this site and looking thru threads, I sometimes have a difficult getting the pages up open up. I will have to hit my back arrow to the previous page and try to open the page again. I may have to do this 3 or 4 times, before the page opens. The problem occurs on my desktop and iPad. Thanks.

I think what ever version of this website is on now and Internet Explorer 11.xxxxx hate each other. I have all kinds of problems with this site currently. I hadn't mentioned it because I just figured that once either of them were updated, the problems would go away.

The worst problem is the embedded youtube videos. I can click "play" then all control is lost. I have to right click, select properties, click somewhere in the properties box, close that box, then I can turn the volume down. After a few seconds, control is lost and I have to do the same thing over and over to make changes or stop the video.

Also, when I click the "youtube" link in the embedded video, it blocks the pop up every single time. I have this site in the "allowed" setup and also click "allow always from this site" box everytime and the SOB refuses to allow it.

Computers are dumb.

OK, We have been working on a few things this weekend(mostly Intruder Prevention) and have removed several things that could have been potentially effecting the speed of the site.

One of our processes require the biggest download for first time user/visitor and those that have cleared their computer Cache. In the past 24 hours after random test I have noticed that page load time seems to be faster.

What's the reason if I go from the "home page" then click on the usercp it won't pull the page up? Always have to click on today's posts then usercp.
