Those stock u-joints and shafts break under the power of a stock 318! I wonder what Yukon/Spicer combo's do.

Just FYI, the non-greaseable Spicer joints are stronger than the greaseable ones because of the lack of grease passages. We also tack weld the caps to the axle shafts to keep them from walking out.

Just some cheap tips you may want to try to help them live.

Cool build.

At the moment I haven’t fixed the axle shaft. It’s been sitting since I broke it that night. I’m going to order the spicer axle shaft with the 25% bigger ear and u-joint.

A small update. I pulled the fenders and going to gut all I can out of them. Also going to remove some of the harness and relocate the battery to the rear of the truck.

What about it specifically? If there was interest I'd consider it.

You're the first I've seen with a 3rd gen rack frt frame section grafted to a 2nd gen. Along with everything else you've done with it.

Looking good Jeffery, keep the updates coming
