Did ya ever try the "Liquid Gloves" stuff? chits the bombnizzie. I learned of this working on elevators-and the old DC lift motors and gennies. That brush carbon dust and worm gear lube is a beyotch. an old timer showed me this one.

That's the same guy I saw on Facebook talking about re using stock duramax headbolts and over torquing them instead of using studs.
