k have a 2008 6.4 I am fighting this code on control module communication bus off. truck got deleted but mini was acting up and we figured that was the reason we first got it the code new mini which downloaded perfect truck started up and drove normal well drove it around 200 miles same ****.
but now mini wont talk keeps saying trying to intalizing communication and wont read codes unplug it let it sit a min itll read code and clear it truck starts. if you try and adjust power mini freezes codes sets.
so I put a new hdmi cable in and obd 2 block adapter no change. pulled battery cables cleaned really well to make sure connections there are good. still no change.....
I pulled the connector behind the passenger battery with key on truck cranks over and fires perfect. so its not the pcm. my question is what else can I check no wiring looks messed up under the dash? where should i look
