In a thread below titled "3 cyl Kubota" there is mention of porting the pre chambers. There is also mention of working on the delivery valves and opening the injectors. I'd like to learn more.
I'm bulding a pulling tractor with a D1105 Kubota engine with a turbo. I do have access to an injector tester.
What does porting the pre chambers do?
I have the Kubota service manual for my engine, but it doesn't have any info about the pump other than timing it with shims under the housing.
I figure eventually I'll have to send the pump and injectors to one of the big diesel shops. But for now I'd like to do as much work myself as possible.
