Dodge AAM 11.5 axle swap into OBS Ford questions

My 1997 Ford F350 has the factory Sterling 10.25 rear axle and it needs some work. It needs new axle seals, wheel bearings, and has quite a bit of slop. I am thinking that instead of investing more money in the old drum break 10.25, it is time to upgrade to a heavier duty disc brake rear end.

I know there are disk brake conversion kits for 10.25's, but I don't want to do that and lose my e-brake.

I have searched for hours trying to find info on swapping in the AAM, but can't find any good info. Heres my reasoning for choosing the Dodge AAM:
-Disc brakes with drum e-brakes
- +/- 12000 pound rating
-From what I have read, the GM duramax AAM does not have a VSS sensor in the diff housing but the Dodge does.
-Uses the same 8x6.5 lug pattern
-3:73 gears, better towing/highway gear than my current 3:55's with 35" tires
-Factory limited slip

Fab work to install is not an issue. My biggest question is if anyone knows if the VSS in the Dodge AAM will be compatible with OBS Ford speedometer?

Thanks in advance for the input!

-Jon

That is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much! How do you like the rear airbag setup? Im thinking about doing that to mine as well here soon and making it a kit available to customers.
