1972 Chevy K30 Longhorn Cummins Build

This is a truck I've had for a while, and we just finished it up enough to take to Good Guys in Des moines last week. It's a 72 Chevy Longhorn that I converted to 4wd and it has a P-pumped 24v with compound turbos, Valair dual disc clutch, rebuilt NV4500 with all the upgrades, Dodge D60 front, D80 rear, boxed frame with 4 link and air ride in the rear. Air ride in the front is soon to come. Here are some pics.

Here's a video of start up after we got the injection lines bled out. This was 2 weekends ago.

We thrashed on this truck through July 4th. Good Guys started July 5th here in Des moines. We took the Corvette there and went back Friday during the day and got the truck done enough to take it to Good Guys for saturday. It was a lot of work. The truck isn't finished, but it is closer than it ever has been since I've owned it!

On the trailer.

Nice work! Like the way you were able to plumb under hood around the A/C box and make everything look factory.

Thanks guys. It's been a lot of work, but does look sweet. It rides really nice too. In the next 6mo or so it's getting front air ride and 4 link.

Would have been less work if everytime it was somewhat close to being done you didnt decide to change it lol.

Thanks. I am trying to get it scheduled in to get the bed and parts of it repainted soon. Now I'm contemplating building a crew cab for it, but IDK. I may just build another truck instead.
