I am rebuilding my trans which had a transgo kit in it. I vacuum tested the valve body and decided to change it out due to leakage. The valve body I am going to use was modified from almost new by DTT and never performed properly. I noticed that there is a hole drilled for firmer lockup and also a notch cut in the mating surface of the valve body where it would act as another larger hole. Other than that I can't tell much difference. Any ideas on areas to check for modifications?
I am installing the following from Sonnax.
4 spool switch valve
Lube regulated pressure valve
Throttle valve
Manual valve
separator plate
The truck has a billet low stall converter. Had a smarty at one point but currently stock.
Are there any parts of the Transgo kit that I should keep?
Is there a listing of "stock" VB springs available?
